Jianlin Ye /dʒiːɛn.lɪn jeɪ/
I am a Research Engineer at the KIOS Research and Innovation Center of Excellence, University of Cyprus, affiliated with the Computer Vision and Deep Learning (CVDL) and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) research groups. My work sits between research and engineering: I develop computer vision methods for UAVs and turn them into real-time systems that run on edge hardware.
My published work focuses on UAV perception and multi-UAV tracking, including vision-language guided navigation. I am currently expanding into agentic AI systems and trustworthy AI & alignment.
I received my M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence (2024, with Distinction) from the University of Cyprus and my B.Eng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2023, First Class Honours) from the University of Lancashire.
